Our bronze heroin bravely battled the forces of evil, repression, ignorance, and special interest. At the Florida State Capitol she welcomed the tired, the hungry, the poor, the out-of-state tourist, and the staycationer. She welcomed the people with gifts-a-plenty. All the while, the wealthy corporations mocked, battered, and coerced our weathered oxidized heroin. She fought bravely, and hard, but the end she succumbed to their treachery.
